From E205 you have a front row view of turquoise waters, scarlet sunsets, and glowing moonsets. During winter season E205 gives the perfect perfect vista from which you may be lucky enough to see whales, turtles, dolphins and other marine life. Overhead, picturesque cotton candy clouds dance in the powder blue skies, casting shadows on the expansive golden sand beach. A visit to Sunny Seas is an extraordinary vacation experience. Just below Sunny Seas E205 is a broad "post-card perfect" golden sand beach located directly in front of the E building. Sunny Seas is truly a beach front paradise. Set on the second floor, the outdoor covered dining and living terrace opens up to expansive blue skies, panoramic ocean, sunset and moonset views!

Situated in a legal hotel-zoned residential community with roving on-site security, Makena Surf Resort offers community BBQ grills, a fitness room, two heated pools and whirlpool spas, colorful tropical flora and fauna, tennis and pickle ball courts, and convenient parking for up to 2 vehicles. The tranquil oasis of tropical seclusion at Makena Surf provides guests with a low-density, low-rise, and less crowded ambiance than other Maui resorts.

This privately owned, freshly re-decorated, and professionally managed direct waterfront vacation villa is one of the most attractive homes in the resort with new coastal styling in light colored decor that reflects the sand and surf outdoors. Despite already having gone through a recent and substantial update, the new owners of E205 (as of August 2026) have planned a full renovation and redecoration to be completed by Thanksgiving 2027. Hurry and pick your favorite dates to experience what we expect will be the nicest residence in Makena Surf Resort. Dates for post-renovation stays will be available as of late November this year.

This year there are 2 generously sized private bedrooms each with a private bath. In 2026 there is a King in the primary bedroom and 2 full size beds in the 2nd. From late 2027 after renovations, there will be a king in the primary bedroom along with 1 queen and 3 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom using bunk beds, for a total of 5 beds for up to 6 guests.

At Sunny Seas you have use of complimentary high speed wireless internet, an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen with all brand new appliances, an in-villa washer/dryer, complimentary safe, and a full complement of household supplies and plush top-quality bed and bath linens. There is indoor dining for six to eight guests and outdoor dining for four, along with counter stools at the kitchen and seating for six around the plush chenille living room sofa.

Sunny Seas features exceptional furnishings and appointments commensurate with an upscale resort villa. The amenities and decor of E205 are superior to those of other generic rental-pool villas. Just added to the great room is a brand new 75 inch "The Frame" Samsung television with easy access to streaming sites and apps of your choice. Both bedrooms have large wall-mounted televisions.

The entire villa has just been refreshed with plenty of new inventory. Each bedroom has a newer pillow top plush mattress along with an array of extra pillows in various styles and materials, a down duvet, cotton blankets, plush all-cotton mattress pads, and high thread-count cotton bedding. The bathrooms are loaded with thick soft cotton towels, hair dryer, make-up mirror, cotton bathrobes, and a bath scale. Tropical theme toiletries are offered in 8 ounce size bottles - an eco-friendly gesture. Other useful amenities that we provide are beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach coolers.

The Makena area is a historic rural region on the island of Maui. Remnants of old villages can be found in the remnants of lava covered shores with hiking trails along the shoreline once walked centuries ago by native Hawaiians that guide you to remote and pristine snorkeling sites. The coastline south of Makena Surf is host to many small coves from which more adventurous visitors can launch a kayak or a scuba diving expedition (weather and surf conditions permitting). We are particularly fond of the walking and jogging courses available in the Wailea and Makena area. From Makena Surf you can head in either direction towards Wailea's oceanfront paved promenade or follow the ancient Pi'ilani road towards La Perouse Bay for stunning scenery on lightly traveled roads.

In addition to the long and broad sandy beach in front of Makena Surf, there are more than a dozen other sandy coves and beaches nearby. The famous "Big" and "Little" beaches are located within a few minutes drive. Also nearby are Polo Beach, Wailea Beach, Elua Beach, and the lovely postcard-perfect beaches of Kihei, such as Keawakapu, Kamaole II, Kamaole III, and Charley Young Beaches. Makena Surf Homeowner's Association (HOA/AOAO/Strata) charges a one-time visitor arrival fee of $50.00 plus tax per reservation. This fee is collected from the guest in advance by Private Paradise Villas, and then it is passed along and paid to the resort. This is a mandatory fee collected by the resort.

Maximum Occupancy Including Children

6 guests maximum. Infants and toddlers under two (2) years of age at the time of occupancy, may be excluded from the total guest count. Toddlers and children age two (2) and above at the time of occupancy will be included in the total guest count. The total guest count may not exceed the stated number of persons. We reserve the right to request (and receive prior to accepting a reservation), actual written proof of birth date (month/day/year) for any toddlers or infants a family wishes to have excluded from the total guest count.

Housekeeping Services

Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens, along with soap and cleaning products. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. There is a laundry room within Your Own Private Paradise residence that provides a washer/dryer, laundry soap and supplies, iron/board, sewing kit, and other generous supplies. Personal laundry, clean up in the kitchen after cooking or meals, and grill cleaning, are not performed during occupied housekeeping services, unless arranged in advance and paid for separately.

For details about the inclusive no-charge (complimentary) housekeeping services provided with your reservation, please refer to the rental cost quote provided to you at the time of first placing your reservation. You will receive information about the housekeeping schedule (dates and times) upon check in. No housekeeping service on national holidays. Inclusive housekeeping service may vary based on rate paid or length of stay or property. Limited properties provide cleaning every day. Most provide one “deep” cleaning every 3-4 days based on a minimum rental term of 6 nights at advertised rate.

Reservations with inclusive housekeeping receive the following assistance per housekeeping service:

Change bed sheets and pillow cases, re-make beds, launder linens off-site
Decorative bed pillows are placed in the closet for your convenience
Replace stocked soap and paper products and replenish toiletries
Remove trash/garbage
Change bath towels if left on the floor or in the tub to be laundered off-site
Start a wash for small towels including kitchen towels
Wipe off bathtubs, sinks and counters
Surface cleaning following by a sweep/vacuum of floors and carpets in traffic areas

Beach & Ocean Access

Makena Surf is situated on the ocean between a sandy cove and a broad and long golden sand swimming beach that faces the setting sun. The beach is easily accessible from Sunny Seas E205, as it's just steps to the ramp down to the sand. At the beach you can snorkel, swim, scuba dive, kayak and sometimes boogie board or surf (when the waves are up)! Beach towels, chairs, coolers, and umbrellas are provided complimentary at the villa for you to take to the beach or for other adventures and outings.

Pool

There are two heated swimming pools and two hot tubs on property, all of which are reserved for the private use of Makena Surf guests. The pools are fenced, however they are not staffed with a lifeguard - use at your own risk.

Outdoor Spa

There are two open-air star-lit free-form whirlpool hot tubs within the lushly landscaped grounds.

Air Conditioning

All rooms have central air conditioning and ceiling fans. Most homes and villas in Hawaii are equipped with residential grade equipment which does not provide bottomless cooling. Cooling is available to a reasonable temperature, usually in the 72-74 range. Most guests find that temperature range to be comfortable. At select properties, the air conditioning may only function to a temperature in the 72-74 range with lower temperature settings mechanically excluded.

BBQ

Enjoy mingling at the community BBQ grills which are perfect for grilling casual island dinners.

Entertainment

The two master bedrooms are equipped with an HD televisions. The great room has a 75" Samsung "The Frame" television.

Dining

A large indoor dining table defines the Great Room. This seats six to eight guests. There is outdoor covered dining on the spacious ocean view terrace seats four guests.

Approximately 1,313 square feet with an additional 251 square feet of outdoor terrace space. Sunny Seas E205 offers a total of 1,564 total square feet.

VILLA SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES

Please expect ambient audible living noises including but not limited to children playing, person-to-person conversations, public space music, sunset horns, or off-shore fireworks celebrations.
This villa is on the 2nd floor. There is NO elevator; stairs only, but there are no more than a dozen or so steps up to the 2nd floor.
Complimentary parking is available for up to 2 cars only. Additional cars are not allowed within the gated resort.
Supervision of children when using outdoor balcony/veranda “lanai” areas is required.
Construction remodeling work is allowed at Makena Surf Resort E building in 2027, 2029, and 2031 starting from late spring through the summer until just before Thanksgiving. Work is not allowed from Thanksgiving through winter high season. It is always possible that remodeling work may commence somewhere near your rented unit with or without warning or advance notice to our firm, and we are not responsible for any inconvenience you may experience should construction noise be audible or visible. The unforeseen commencement of construction in the vicinity of a rental property subsequent to the execution of a rental Agreement shall not negate or alter this Agreement, or the rate paid for this reservation.

The accommodation you are renting has flexible bedding options in at least one sleeping room/bedroom. Our staff will ask you in advance of arrival how you would like the beds made up in those spaces. Kindly let us know prior to arrival so we can have the sleeping arrangements pre-made for you. If you are unable to give us your bedding request in advance, or if you change your bedding request after arrival, a $150 change fee will be applied.

Boogie Boards, Snorkel Sets, Surf Boards, Kayaks, Bicycles, and other sports equipment can be rented in advance through third party providers. Please inquire with our Concierge for reservations.
Rates Include: Direct local phone, parking (except at condominiums or hotels), Concierge assistance, optional greeting upon arrival, occupancy up to the maximum number of persons allowed, weekly pool/spa service, weekly gardening, post-departure cleaning if not charged separately, extra person fees and housekeeping services as noted up to the stated maximum amount.
Rates Do Not Include: In Hawaii, homes are provided on an a-la-carte basis and most incidental personal services are not included in the rates quoted. Not included are long distance phone (unless a property offers a fixed price monthly unlimited long distance calling plan, security/damage/incidentals/activity deposit, extra guest-requested pool, spa service or yard cleaning, personal laundry, extra housekeeping other than noted, food or beverages, CSA Vacation Rental Insurance, lei greeting, airport greeting, transfers, transportation, auto rental, rental bedding, child care supplies, child proofing services, sightseeing, tours, activities, baggage handling at airport or at villa, sports and water recreation supplies, replenishment of paper & soap products other than initial supply, and any other items or services not specifically listed as included.

Rates do not include taxes: State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax (10.25%), Maui County Transient Accommodations Tax (3.0%), and the combined State of Hawaii and Maui County General Excise Tax (4.712%) are applied to the rental rate and additional charges quoted. If the tax percentages are changed by the State of Hawaii or County of Maui after a reservation is confirmed, we will contact you to collect the additional amounts due.
Standard Policies: Respect the stated maximum occupancy allowed please! This is very important, as all private homes in our collection are the valuable and beloved second homes of individual private owners. The availability and future right to enjoy our multi-million dollar vacation homes is conditioned upon each guest respecting the owner's pre-disclosed specific terms and conditions. Remove your shoes upon entering your home, as Hawaii's volcanic soil can stain carpets, tile, and fabrics. Step outside to smoke please. No pets on property. Rinse off sand and sun lotions before walking on interior floors sitting on furniture. Sun products will stain upholstery and linens and may damage furnishings. Weddings, receptions, and gatherings are strictly prohibited on any of our properties, due to residential zoning codes which discourage non-residential use, boisterous use causing noise complaints, excessive occupancy causing parking problems in the neighborhood, or any use involving additional non registered guests on the property.
Cancellation Policy: REFUND & CANCELLATIONS: GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE INITIAL PAYMENT BY GUEST IS NON-REFUNDABLE, UNLESS THE PROPERTY IS DAMAGED BY A CAUSE OTHER THAN GUEST NEGLIGENCE, OR IF THE PROPERTY IS OTHERWISE RENDERED UNFIT FOR HABITATION AND NO ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTE PROPERTY CAN BE ARRANGED. IF GUEST CANCELS THIS RESERVATION, A REFUND OF GUEST'S INITIAL PAYMENT MAY BE MADE, LESS A PRE-DISCLOSED CANCELLATION CHARGE, BASED ON THE GROSS RENTAL AMOUNT AND TAXES ORIGINALLY DUE FOR THE RESERVATION, IF THE ACCOMMODATION IS RE-RESERVED BY ANOTHER PARTY FOR THE SAME DATES AND AT THE SAME RATE. GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT OWNER/AGENT/PROPERTY MANAGER HAS NO OBLIGATION TO RE-RESERVE UPON GUEST'S CANCELLATION, ALTHOUGH REASONABLE EFFORTS MAY BE EXPECTED. LODGING CANCELLATION COVERAGE IS AVAILABLE FROM INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS AND IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THIS RESERVATION MAY BE CANCELLED BY THE OWNER/AGENT/PROPERTY MANAGER, IN THE EVENT THE PROPERTY IS WITHDRAWN FROM A RENTAL PROGRAM AND IN THAT EVENT, THEIR LIABILITY TO THE GUEST IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF RENTAL MONIES PAID TO DATE ON THE ACCOUNT, AND SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT COVER THE COST OF AIR TICKETS AND OTHER TRAVEL COSTS.
